The Nike Air Flight Lite High was originally seen in 1991, and was notably worn by Scottie Pippen during the 1992 NBA season as well as at the Olympics.
The shoe was also famously sported by the Sidney Deane character in the movie White Men Can’t Jump. At the time, the bulky high top was considered one of the lighter shoes available to play in. After a couple of rounds of retros, Nike finally dropped this Bulls colorway and I had to scoop!
These are made up of nice smooth leather except for this shiny leather-ish material on the lower rear, and come with white laces. As with a lot of Nike Sportswear releases, the leather quality here is not the best. However, it gets the job done.
With respect to comfort, these are fairly decent for a retro basketball sneaker from this time. Of course they feel huge on feet, given the extra height and padding used. But that’s part of the charm for these!
